Dental Fillings: Don't Procrastinate

I have had great teeth most of my life, and although I needed a few cavity fillings as a child, I hadn't needed one in years until recently. My dentist found a cavity during a check-up, and he told me to make an appointment to have it filled ASAP, as it was a bit deep. I have a habit of procrastinating, and my bad habit got me in trouble. I kept waiting a week, then another week to have it filled. Soon, months passed, and I finally scheduled that appointment. That is when I learned I had waited too long, and I then needed a root canal, because the cavity had become deep enough that the pulp was now affected. I created this blog to remind others that they cannot procrastinate when it comes to having cavities filled. I learned the hard way that they can become worse very fast.
